LeVert Scores 29 Points, Hits Go-Ahead 3
The Cleveland Cavaliers rallied in the fourth quarter to beat the Dallas Mavericks 113-110 on Tuesday, December 27. Caris LeVert led the way for the Cavs with 29 points, including the go-ahead three-pointer with less than two minutes remaining. Jarrett Allen added 22 points and 14 rebounds for Cleveland, while Darius Garland had 19 points and 9 assists.
The Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic's 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. Spencer Dinwiddie added 19 points, and Christian Wood had 17 points. The loss dropped the Mavericks to 0-2 on their four-game road trip and 33-25 overall.
The Cavs, meanwhile, improved to 29-29 with the win. They will next play on Thursday, December 29, when they host the Toronto Raptors.
