The Easiest Way to Remove Acrylic Nails
Step 1: Remove Most of the Length with Clippers
Start by using nail clippers to trim down the length of your acrylic nails as much as possible. This will make the removal process quicker and easier.
Step 2: Soak Your Nails in Pure Acetone
Soak a cotton ball in pure acetone and place it on top of your acrylic nail. Wrap the cotton ball in aluminum foil to secure it in place. Let the acetone soak for at least 15 minutes, or until the acrylic starts to dissolve.
Step 3: Gently Remove the Acrylic
Once the acrylic has dissolved, use a cuticle pusher or orange stick to gently push away the acrylic from your natural nails. Be careful not to damage your natural nails.
Step 4: Buff and Shine Your Nails
Once the acrylic is removed, buff and shine your natural nails to remove any remaining residue. You can also apply a cuticle oil to help moisturize your nails.
