Porziņģis Shines in Return

Boston Takes 2-0 Lead

The Boston Celtics took a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals on Sunday with a 105-98 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Kristaps Porziņģis, who missed the first two games of the series with a sprained ankle, returned to action and led the Mavericks with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

The Celtics were led by Jaylen Brown, who scored 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Jayson Tatum added 21 points and Marcus Smart chipped in with 18 points.

The Celtics led by just four points at the half, but they opened the third quarter with a 10-0 run to take control of the game. The Mavericks never got closer than six points the rest of the way.

Game 3 of the series will be played in Dallas on Tuesday night.
